The Sopranos' is a highly acclaimed HBO drama in which the biggest mafia boss is a family man who trusts no one but his psychiatrist. Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini, 'Welcome to the Rileys', 'All the King's Men') tries to be a good head of the family in every way, both with his wife Carmela (Edie Falco, 'Nurse Jackie', 'The Color of Crime'), his children and his widowed mother, and as a mafia boss. Tony is the "godfather" of a mafia gang based in New Jersey, and extortion, illegal trafficking and bribery are part of his daily life. When the pressures of work and family life cause a series of anxiety attacks, he is forced into psychiatric therapy. However, he has to keep that information to himself, as it is not the kind of confidence that someone who moves in his circle should share.
