Dave Buznik is a quiet, gentle man who can't stand confrontational situations. But one day, he loses his temper because of an altercation on board an airplane. To avoid going to jail, he will have to undergo anger management therapy with Dr. Buddy Rydell, who decides that, in order for the treatment to be more effective, he should move in with his patient. For Dave, this will be the beginning of a nightmare that, far from calming him down, will make him even more furious.
