Frank Dooley was truly useless and incompetent as a cop, so it is not unusual for him to end up fired from the force and end up in a security company where, curiously, they hire the most inept people to guard places with products of certain value. As an example, Frank is assigned Norman Kane, a former lawyer accused of corruption, to perform protection work under the supervision of a mob boss, Michael Carlino, who takes advantage of the inexperience of his men to loot the businesses and places that theoretically guard.
