Call of Duty: Ghosts is the debut of Activision's war shooter in the eighth generation of consoles, and is signed by Infinity Ward. Its campaign takes us to a United States on the brink of disaster, where a team of army special forces, the Ghost that give the game its name, fight in high-risk missions against a South America allied with the name of "the Federation", which are planning to give the coup de grace to their northern neighbors. To do so, the new soldiers are aided by new devices and units, including the German shepherd dog Riley, which features mechanics unique to the series. Extinction mode is also introduced in Call of Duty: Ghosts, a revision of the classic zombies with more survival tints and set in an alternative campaign structured by chapters that can be completed both individually and cooperatively, and that expands through DLCs. CoD Ghosts multiplayer also receives some polish, and offers one of the most complete character editors in the series.
