Doraemon is an enigmatic cat-robot who comes from the future to the 20th century. Once there, he starts living with the Nobi family. Nobita is the only son of the Nobi family, a clumsy young man, a bad student and constantly harassed by the two bullies of his school. However, he has the unwavering support of his platonic love, Shizuka Minamoto.

In each chapter, Nobita asks Doraemon for help to solve the problems he faces in his clumsy routine. To do so, the cosmic cat uses his magic pocket from which he pulls out all kinds of futuristic and complex artifacts that more than once make the situation worse and the problem grows irretrievably.
