Gran Turismo 5, popularly abbreviated as GT5, is the fifth entry in the popular PlayStation racing saga and the first to be released exclusively on the PlayStation 3 console. It is also the first installment to offer online multiplayer support for up to 16 players. Also, GT5 premieres licenses unpublished in the series: World Rally Championship, NASCAR and Super GT.
