Dr. House is shown to be skeptical, arrogant, insensitive, arrogant and terribly sarcastic. He doesn't talk to patients because he is convinced that "everyone lies," something he repeats throughout the series like a mantra. We are also presented as a cripple, clinging to the cane and vicodin, of which we have some background that will remind you of these moments. His first patient in fiction confronts him accusing him of being bitter and wanting to get even with the rest of humanity. However, characters close to him are offering us scraps of his personality before suffering the heart attack in his leg and not that he experienced a terrible transformation. In fact, for his boss, he was always "an annoying egocentric and narcissist". The analysis that I present below could do it from the point of view of spectator and "fan" of the series, but I preferred to do it from the point of view of the main character, so particular, with a way of understanding life as cold and carnal, as real.

House is unable to empathize with people; he can establish a correct diagnosis simply by observing his patient's body language or a change in his personality or habits. However, it is completely useless when it comes to identifying with the emotions of others. He does not respect the beliefs of others and rejects their passions. He is eminently practical and terribly rational, so everything the mind cannot control does not interest him. It does not know compassion, nor does it seek it in others. "Brain tumor. He will die. Boring": this is how he diagnosed his first patient in the 'House' pilot. From the beginning, we were made clear that he was not a regular doctor. No doubt a reference series for the whole world.
