he director Andrew Niccol (Gattaca, Simone, The Warlord), returns to the genre that has given him the best results, the futuristic thriller with a certain degree of social conscience. In Time introduces us to a dystopia in which scientific advances have managed to generate a cure against aging. But only the wealthiest classes will be able to get their hands on the cure, which will lead to disproportionate class differences and a lot of social tension. Now time is the key to pay for luxuries and necessities and the cost of living is becoming too expensive. In this scenario, a young man, Will Salas (Justin Timberlake, Con derecho a roce), will try unsuccessfully to avoid the death of his mother, and from that moment on he will be pursued by a section of the police outside the law known as "the guardians of time", and will be accused of having killed a wealthy businessman. On the run, he will kidnap Sylvia (Amanda Seyfried, Little Red Riding Hood), a rich girl who will serve as a bargaining chip before falling in love with her.
