Revolution' is a sci-fi adventure drama produced by NBC and created by J.J. Abrams ('Star Trek', 'Alcatraz', 'Armageddon') and Eric Kripke ('Boogeyman, The Frightening Door', 'Supernatural'). The series follows a group of survivors in a post-apocalyptic, 'Jericho'-style world trying to regain everything they lost in the past.

Charlie's (Tracy Spiridakos, 'Origin of the Planet of the Apes') life is turned upside down when his father Ben (Tim Guinee, 'Iron Man') is killed by a local militia commanded by the shadowy Tom Neville (Giancarlo Esposito, 'Breaking Bad', 'Once Upon a Time'), an unscrupulous man who owes obedience to the all-powerful General Monroe (David Lyons, 'ER'). Fearful of his boss's reaction if he doesn't capture the man he wants, Neville takes hostage Charlie's brother Danny (Graham Rogers, 'Long Time Gone'), who is in very delicate condition as a result of his asthma attacks.
