An RTS on consoles was a concept that to an important stratum of video game users seemed little short of blasphemy. However, the truth is that it is a genre that has been making a place for itself on the platform, just as shooters did in their time, another style of game apparently cursed for the pad. World in Conflict: Soviet Assault, Halo Wars, Red Alert 3... The list of imminent strategy titles for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 is beginning to be long, and even longer if we add those for Nintendo DS, a game console with a proven track record in the genre. However, one of the releases we were most interested in was EndWar, the new installment of the gigantic Tom Clancy franchise.
