Three scientists, Max and married couple Will and Evelyn, have been researching for years the possibility of developing programming code to create the world's first computer that thinks for itself. When a group of anti-technology terrorists assassinate Will, Evelyn uploads the prototype supercomputer obtained so far into his brain. The experiment doesn't seem to work, but before long, she finds that Will responds through the machine, to which she connects a microphone and camera so that she can see and talk to it. The scientist-turned-machine sends a backup copy of himself to every computer in the world and publicizes his work on the Internet. The terrorist organization, which echoes his achievements, will make every effort to find him in order to destroy him definitively and thus put an end to what could be the beginning of a new technological era.
